Visiting for IMG Academy? Where to Stay and What to Do Nearby
By the Vacation Thyme team

Tournament and training weekends go more smoothly when the whole group has room to eat, rest and spread out. Here is how Coral Cabana fits an IMG Academy stay, and what to do in the downtime.
Close to campus
IMG Academy is at 5650 Bollettieri Blvd in Bradenton. Coral Cabana is about 7 miles away. IMG also offers campus tours and lists a hotel next to campus for visiting groups, so check their site for current information. If you would rather have a home base, a house makes it easier to feed everyone, wash uniforms and relax between sessions.

A home base for a team or a big family
- Sleeps up to 14: three king bedrooms plus a bunk room with two full-over-full bunks
- Two full bathrooms, two refrigerators, a full kitchen, plus a washer and dryer
- A game room, private pool, hot tub and tiki bar for recovery days
- A desk with a 27-inch monitor and fast Wi-Fi for parents who still need to work
- A travel crib, high chair and stroller for younger siblings
What to do between sessions

- Robinson Preserve, about 1.5 miles away, for boardwalks, trails and kayaking
- Beaches, 6 to 13 miles away, for an easy recovery day on the sand
- Village of the Arts and the Bradenton Riverwalk, about 6 and 6.5 miles away
- Cortez, a historic fishing village about 7 miles away
- Golf, with several public and private courses 5 to 10 miles away

Planning tips
- Book early for big tournament weekends.
- Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is about 12.5 miles away.
- Our base rate covers up to 10 guests. Groups of 11 to 14 add $15 per person per night, so count everyone staying overnight.
